Birthday PartyPix Terms & Conditions:

It is important that you read & understand everything below. We can't be held responsible for not reading, thank you.

Minimum age is 7 years for the birthday girl & 6 years of age for guests. Maximum age is 16 years for the birthday girl & 16 years of age for guests. We don't allow any participation for anyone over 16 years or under 6 years. Parties vary slightly to represent the age group. At least 1 parent to be present & 4 adults maximum can stay as more than this we feel becomes too crowded for everyone.

We only allow children under the age of 6 including babies to attend if we have agreed this with you before your party date & they are the brother / sister of the birthday girl, it would be you who is responsible for them on the day. ( we do not do makeup for under 6's or boys sorry ).

Please try to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your booking as we lock our doors whilst we prepare for your party. We can't be held responsible for arriving early or late for your party as we work to a diary & this can affect other bookings we may have. We lock our doors throughout the party for security & safety reasons & do not unlock them till the party is due to end. Any parents picking up their child will not be allowed into our premises till this time. If they need to pick up their child early they can knock on any of our 2 doors or ring us on 07973 551173 & we will open the doors for them to collect their child.

We don't have time for outfit changes for all the girls during their individual shoots, however we will allow 1 change for the group shots if required.

We do not cater for children with allergies, ie: nut, gluten, dairy etc, we advise that parents bring a packed lunch for their child if they are concerned.

For security reasons no cameras or video equipment can be used in our main downstairs studio, however you can take as many pictures as you like in our upstairs party room.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or allow to join in any of the party events if we feel that any guest / guests are not acting appropriately to either us, other guests or our premises. Games & prizes are usually included for 7 - 11 year old parties only.

A small deposit of £25 is required per party to confirm & secure your booking. The balance for your party is payable on the day, please note: debit or credit card payments for the balance carry a 5% surcharge ( sorry but this is what we are charged ) therefore paying the balance by cash is preferred. We do not accept cheques for party payments. Extra guests welcome at a charge of £25 or £15 per person depending on party option chosen.

You can upgrade your party to a more expensive option if we have the time available, however we do not allow a party to be downsized to a less expensive one from what you have originally booked if say less girls have turned up or are going to turn up.

Pizza included free when available, Toppings are subject to change according to availablility..

Photos from our parties may be used on our website or for advertising purposes. Please let us know if you would not like us to use yours.

Cancellation Of Your Party ... You must telephone & speak to us to cancel, we do not & will not accept emails or text messages for security reasons.

Deposits are non-refundable if you decide to cancel ( please see below ), however your party can be moved to another date ( if available ) if at least 1 calendar months notice is given prior to your original party booking date. Please Note: There is an automatic £50 charge if you want to move your party date.

If you decide to cancel your party booking & have given us at least 1 calendar months notice prior to your party date there is an automatic £50 cancellation charge.

However if you decide to cancel & this is within 1 calendar month of your party date, you will automatically owe 50% of the full balance due to us immediately.

If you do not show for your party on the day or have not telephoned us at least 48 hours in advance to cancel, you will automatically owe the full balance due to us immediately.

We are sorry that we have to do this, but it is unfair to other parents who wanted to book & who could have had the same party date & time for their daughters birthday & had to miss out. There is also the fact that we put a lot of time & effort in to setting up a party as well as closing our studio down for up to 3 hours, not to mention preparation before your party date, preparation on the day, heating, wages, food, loss of earnings etc. Also as most people usually book months in advance it is impossible that we can offer the date & time slot to anyone else at short notice.

If on the rare occasion our printing equipment should fail on your party day & we can't print your free prints, we will include all the digital files for free as a replacement.

In extreme winter weather conditions we may have to re-schedule your party if we can't make it to the studio ie: heavy snow etc ... in this case we will give you as much notice as we can. We will also offer some form of reimbursement in the way of a discount or free party upgrade for any trouble caused. Don't panic though, this has only ever happened once over the years.
